What an incredible day we had at Frampton Country Fair!
From the moment the gates opened, we had a fantastic response to The Grooming Guru, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. It was wonderful meeting so many dog owners, talking all things grooming and introducing more people to our growing range of products.
One of the most rewarding parts of the day was the amount of positive feedback we received about our products. From our brushes and combs to our shampoos, conditioners, colognes, pet balm and 3-in-1 travel bottles, it was great to hear people genuinely interested in what we are creating and, most importantly, why we created it.
Seeing familiar faces ❤️
Something that made Frampton particularly special was seeing customers who had previously bought from us at other shows coming back to find us again.
Having somebody buy one of your products for the first time is exciting. Having them actually seek you out at another show because they liked it so much that they want to buy more is something else entirely!
For us, that is some of the best feedback we could possibly receive. The Grooming Guru is still growing, so seeing returning customers and hearing about their experiences with our products means a huge amount to both of us.
And then… Chewbacca needed a groom! 😂
Of course, no country show would be complete without something unexpected — although even we weren't expecting Chewbacca from Star Wars to turn up at The Grooming Guru!
With all that hair, who better to visit than a professional dog groomer?
Chewie stopped by the stand and Becky couldn't resist giving him a little Grooming Guru attention. We're pleased to report that even a Wookiee can benefit from the right grooming technique! 😂🐾
It certainly gave us one of our favourite photographs from the day and created plenty of laughs at the stand.
More than just selling products
Days like Frampton remind us exactly why we started The Grooming Guru.
We don't simply want to put our name on products and sell them. The whole idea behind the business is to combine Becky's professional grooming experience with products that help ordinary dog owners look after their dogs at home and between professional grooms.
Being able to meet customers face-to-face, demonstrate our products, answer grooming questions and hear people's feedback is incredibly valuable to us.
And when customers come back to see us at another show, we know we're beginning to build something really special.
So, to everyone who visited The Grooming Guru at Frampton Country Fair, whether you bought something, came back for more, stopped for some grooming advice or simply came over for a chat — thank you.
Your support, feedback and encouragement genuinely mean a lot to us.
We had a fantastic show and we're already looking forward to the next one.
